Role Overview
Turing is seeking highly skilled JavaScript/TypeScript developers (Full Stack) who thrive on building scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions. You’ll help develop and optimize AI models, benchmark results, innovate evaluation strategies, and solve technical problems for some of the most ambitious US companies.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and Maintain Code: Design, develop, and maintain readable, reusable, and efficient code for training and enhancing large-scale AI models.
- AI Model Evaluation: Conduct rigorous model benchmarks (Evals) to assess performance, analyze results, and iterate for improvements.
- SFT & RLHF: Lead supervised fine-tuning, manage task-specific datasets, and collaborate with researchers on reinforcement learning using human feedback.
- Ranking & Rationale: Evaluate model responses, ensuring they meet technical and ethical guidelines while providing detailed rationales for your assessments.
- Innovate AI Strategies: Design and refine evaluation workflows, aiming to enhance alignment, user experience, and adherence to good practices.
- Team Collaboration: Work with product managers, annotators, researchers, and cross-disciplinary engineering teams to improve models and products.
- Code Quality Assurance: Carry out thorough code/documentation reviews, share constructive feedback, and contribute to overall codebase excellence.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with new tools, methodologies, and technologies to advance AI training and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Technologies
