Position Held: Support Engineer for Applications
As an application support engineer, it will be your duty to locate and fix software problems in vital business systems. This position is crucial to maintaining efficient daily operations for a variety of internal and client applications.
Principal Duties:
- Address user-reported software problems and offer prompt fixes.
- Analyze problems, pinpoint root causes, and offer suggestions for preventative actions.
- Engage in technical conversations to address persistent problems.
- Install software updates, fixes, and upgrades as required.
- Work together with interdisciplinary groups to tackle more significant issues at the system level.
- Keep track of all system patches, updates, and debugging methods.
- Help with the preparation and implementation of functional testing for software rollouts and updates.

- Familiarity with software testing methodologies.
