Role Overview
KPMG India is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional for the role of Executive – Business Analyst in its Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting team. This position is based at the Bangalore office and plays a critical role in supporting regulatory reporting processes by managing, analyzing, and preparing compliance reports for national and international clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Gathering and verifying data. Gather relevant data from client systems and internal databases. Verify datasets to make sure they are complete, accurate, and consistent. Work with internal departments to coordinate data audits and settle discrepancies.
- Reporting to Regulators. Create reports on non-financial regulatory compliance that adhere to specific customer needs and industry standards. Make ensuring that all necessary reports are accurately and on time submitted. Keep an eye on changes to the regulatory framework to ensure that all reporting requirements are met.
- Documentation Reporting and Quality Assurance To promote openness and uniformity in operations, record reporting procedures and guidelines. To maintain reporting accuracy and satisfy internal and external expectations, carry out comprehensive quality control inspections.
- Communication and Cooperation with Clients Collaborate closely with teams that interact with clients to comprehend reporting requirements and collect necessary data. Clearly and professionally explain reporting procedures and findings to clients. Help clients comprehend reporting procedures and deal with issues pertaining to compliance.
- Process Enhancement and Optimization Determine any possible holes or inefficiencies in the current procedures. Provide ideas for and implement strategies to enhance reporting procedures. Follow industry best practices for regulatory reporting and data management.
- Education and Training Participate in online courses, training seminars, and gatherings where people can exchange information. Consult with seasoned staff members for guidance and coaching. Put a high priority on acquiring the technical know-how and soft skills required for career progression.
Required Qualifications
- a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business administration, data analytics, or a similar field.
- An additional benefit will be having an MBA or other postgraduate degree.
- strong command of Microsoft Excel, particularly its visualization tools, data analysis features, and pivot tables.
- It is preferred to have some working understanding of reporting tools like Tableau or Power BI.
