Role Overview

Principal Duties
Depending on which business unit you are allocated to, your duties as an Analyst Trainee will vary slightly. In general, your assignments could consist of:
- carrying out database tasks, such as developing stored procedures, CRUD actions, and queries.
- creating and carrying out test cases for both automated and manual testing.
- effectively managing root cause analysis and service ticket resolution.
- utilizing data analytics and IT service management tools.
- fixing IT-related issues and provide technical support to clients.
- overseeing and managing servers, networks, and storage systems in a cloud-based or hybrid setting.
- supporting efforts for knowledge sharing and ongoing service enhancements.

Qualifications

- You ought to have completed a three-year full-time degree, such as a BCA or BSc (Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics, Electronics, or related fields).
- Either 2023 or 2024 should be your graduation year.
- A minimum of 60% in total grades from X, XII, Diploma, and UG (without rounding off) is required for positions in IT and Integrated Smart Operations.
- No standing arrears at the time of joining.
- Flexibility to work from any Cognizant office and in any shift.
- Open to Indian nationals or Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) currently residing in India.
- Please note that if you have previously participated in Cognizant’s hiring process within the last five years, you must disclose this in the registration form.
