About the Role: IT Support Intern

So what exactly does an IT Support Intern do at Aspire?

Think of this as the tech backbone of the company. You’ll work behind the scenes — setting up systems, solving real issues, helping colleagues stay connected, and ensuring that nothing breaks (and if it does, you’ll fix it fast).

You’ll be working directly with Aspire’s Director of Information Security and a world-class IT team. It’s hands-on, high-impact, and full of learning.

What You’ll Be Doing (Responsibilities)

Here’s a glimpse of what your day-to-day might include:

Managing software platforms like:

• Google Workspace
• Azure Active Directory (AD)
• Microsoft Intune
• Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE)

Fixing real stuff:

• Troubleshooting issues on Windows 10/11 and macOS systems
• Supporting employees with laptops, Wi-Fi, printers, and connectivity

Handling office networks:

• Working with Unifi systems to manage WiFi, door access, and firewalls
• Making sure people in the office (and remote) stay connected and secure

Setting up new devices:

• Choosing, buying, and configuring laptops (Windows/Mac)
• Setting up software licenses and managing inventory

Helping with compliance:

• Supporting security frameworks like ISO 27001, PCI DSS, SOC 2 Type 2
• Writing documentation and user guides on platforms like Notion or Confluence

Scripting small automations:

• Using PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate boring or repetitive tasks

Supporting user lifecycle:

• From new employee onboarding to secure offboarding — you’ll handle it all!

Who Should Apply?

This role is made for early-career IT lovers. Whether you’re a student, fresher, or someone with a few months of experience, you’ll fit right in if:

• You’re based in Gurugram or Bangalore
• You’ve used both Windows and Mac systems comfortably
• You know your way around basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
• You communicate clearly in English
• You’re curious, quick to learn, and not afraid of figuring things out on your own
• You’ve studied (or are studying) Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or anything tech-related

If you’ve already dabbled in platforms like Google Workspace, Azure AD, Intune, or Unifi — that’s a big plus, but not a must.

Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills

If any of these sound familiar, you’ll shine even brighter:

• You’ve used tools like Notion, Slack, AWS, or 1Password
• You’ve worked with Linux systems or used command-line tools
• You’ve had exposure to incident management tools like Azure Sentinel
• You’ve explored or earned certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cloud+
• You’ve learned about compliance frameworks like ISO 27001 or SOC 2
• You maintain a GitHub, tech blog, or write tech tutorials? Major bonus!
