What You’ll Be Doing
You will oversee a number of significant tasks as a member of Genpact’s O2C team. Your work will keep the firm running well, from communicating with clients to making sure that bills and collections are handled appropriately.
- Order Processing and Validation: Prior to preparing purchase order requests for billing, you will verify their compliance and completeness.
- Client Support and Interaction: As part of your work, you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis. You will address consumer queries, fix problems, and provide updates at various places as needed.
- Collections and Dispute Resolution: You will manage the procedures for collecting money, professionally resolve conflicts, and set plans in place to guarantee that clients pay on time.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintaining strong relationships with customers across various countries and regions will be key to your success. You’ll interact via calls and emails to resolve outstanding invoices and disputes.
- Target Achievement: Part of your job will be to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collections targets, which will improve team performance as a whole.
- Cooperation within the Team: You will collaborate extensively with internal teams and regional financial managers. Process alignment and performance improvement can be achieved by active participation in governance and status meetings.
- Process Improvement: To increase operational efficiency, you will offer suggestions for process improvement and possibly spearhead projects utilizing Lean or Six Sigma approaches.
- SAP Reporting and Analysis: Having an understanding of SAP can help you create reports and offer insights to help with the invoicing and collection procedures.
- Changing to Meet Business Needs: This position requires flexibility. Various shifts will be required of you based on business needs.
What We’re Looking For: Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. Candidates with an MBA in Finance will have an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of the Order to Cash process, including different invoice types such as manual, consolidated, and automated.
Preferred Skills:
- German language proficiency (at least C2).
- outstanding communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
- the capacity to work under duress and manage tight deadlines.
- strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
- Prior experience in collections, dispute management, and client interaction.
- SAP knowledge and experience with generating SAP reports will be an asset.
