Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Collaborating on Feature Development:
In order to test and validate new features, you will collaborate closely with ColdFusion engineers. - Supporting the ColdFusion Community:

Adobe ColdFusion runs across various platforms. It will be your responsibility as a QA Engineer to verify features on Linux, macOS, and Windows systems. Here, familiarity with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL as well as web servers like Apache and IIS will be essential. - Using Agile Practices: You will actively participate in backlog grooming meetings, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning. - Driving Quality Culture:

Experience and Skills Needed
A well-rounded quality engineer who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking is what we’re searching for. The ideal applicant ought to possess:
- a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline, or experience that is comparable.
- strong background in ColdFusion and/or Java development. Being proficient in both will be very beneficial.
- practical knowledge of test automation frameworks as Playwright, Selenium, or other programs.
- familiarity with application servers and an understanding of web server technologies such as IIS and Apache.
- expertise creating and validating SQL queries as part of test cases while working with databases like Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- at ease using Linux, macOS, and Windows, among other systems. It is crucial to comprehend the subtleties of any operating system from the standpoint of software quality.
- a problem-solving attitude and a proven track record of finding errors, coming up with fixes, and increasing test coverage.
